We had a really great day today. The only scheduled activity was to get Wendy's photo taken at the police station for her Chinese passport, so we had a lot of free time today, which was lovely. After breakfast, we walked through the hotel garden and visited the playroom and outdoor playground. Then, Maddie did some homework and Wendy took a nap while Bill went shopping.
Bill and Wendy made lots of progress on bonding today! They started the morning off by Bill getting her out of bed and giving her a bottle and some Cheerios. Then, he carried her around in the Ergo carrier, and she seemed very content. They look very cute together.
After the passport appointment, we all enjoyed time at the pool and then walked to a local park to have dinner at the Green Island restaurant. I still can't get over how beautiful Guangzhou is. Sometimes, I feel like we are walking around a tropical paradise. The restaurant had Western-style food and a beautiful view of a lake. I had steak, Bill had beef kabobs and the girls ate spaghetti.
We craved a little chocolate, so we bought a Snickers bar at the 7-Eleven down the street.
Sister snuggle time before bed: they are eating Cheerios and watching HBO. Very cute!
